Ai2’s Asta adds one-click handoff and self-checking deep paper search

Two updates to Asta, Ai2’s scientific research assistant:
- One-click handoff from AutoDiscovery to Asta’s data analysis tools. Hypotheses, datasets, and results are passed over as context, so users don’t need to re-upload data or restate the setup.
- Deep search for literature retrieval now checks whether the returned papers actually answer the query, and keeps searching if they do not.
The image shows Asta’s workflow around hypothesis exploration, dataset analysis, and paper search. The team says the updates are live now.
