enFoldX uses noisy AlphaFold3 ensembles to predict T cell specificity

enFoldX targets a long-standing TCR specificity problem

The post frames the problem as predicting which T cells recognize which peptides. Sequence-based models often fail to generalize to new peptides or new TCRs, while AlphaFold3 may still generate plausible-looking structures even for non-cognate pairs.

The proposed solution, enFoldX, uses the full noisy AF3 ensemble instead of a single structure to predict TCR:pMHC binding.
