Sol-Engine Boosts Video Generation Speed by up to 5x with Training-Free Sparse Attention
songhan_mit · x · 2026-07-22
The MIT team shared the latest Sol-Engine update, introducing Sol Attention, a new training-free sparse attention method designed specifically for video diffusion models.
- Performance: By combining sparse attention with caching and kernel fusion, the engine achieves up to 5.0× end-to-end acceleration on HunyuanVideo-13B and 3.5× on Wan2.1-T2V-14B.
- Workflow Integration: The new module is fully integrated into Sol-Engine’s agent-native workflow, enabling automated model adaptation, optimization, and quality validation with minimal human effort.
