Agno introduces AgentOS, a FastAPI-based runtime for serving agents as an API, an MCP server, and through chat apps such as Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp.
Key capabilities
- Durable runtime for moving from agent definition to a live service.
- Multi-user security with RBAC.
- Background execution, checkpointing, session management, tracing, evals, and guardrails.
- Can run multiple parallel streams, survive connection drops, and coordinate multiple clients reading and writing shared data.
Distribution
- Open source.
- The post says you can deploy it with a short prompt by choosing a cloud and handing it to a coding agent.
