Google says it is releasing three new models: Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber.
- 3.6 Flash: focused on token efficiency, with about 17% fewer output tokens than the previous 3.5 Flash, and up to 65% fewer tokens in some coding scenarios; priced at $1.50 / 1M input tokens and $7.50 / 1M output tokens
- Improved coding and research performance, with fewer pointless edits and loops
- Computer use rises to 83% success, now built into Gemini API and enterprise client tools
- Stronger jailbreak/misuse protections, including biological, chemical, and cyber-risk safeguards, with fewer false refusals in normal use
