- The company positions it as a cheaper, faster alternative to larger security models such as Anthropic’s Mythos.
- It is built on Gemini 3.5 Flash and will initially be available to governments and trusted partners through CodeMender, Google’s security-focused coding agent.
- Google says CodeMender can invoke the model multiple times at high speed and low cost so it can scan more code paths and find more vulnerabilities.
