Google DeepMind launches Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber in a limited government-only pilot

Google DeepMind has introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber, a version of 3.5 Flash fine-tuned to find, validate, and patch vulnerabilities quickly.
- The model is being rolled out cautiously because of dual-use concerns.
- In a limited-access pilot, it will be available only to governments and trusted partners through CodeMender at first, then broadened over time.
- Google says the goal is to give defenders a head start on finding and fixing critical vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them.
