Practical rolling-shutter pose estimation

The post points to a paper on rolling-shutter relative pose estimation. The authors argue that the problem becomes practical when using affine correspondences for rolling-shutter images, and note that such correspondences can also be obtained from a dense matcher like RoMa.

The attached figures show the rolling-shutter two-view geometry, synthetic solver evaluation, and a TUM-RS benchmark table. The results suggest the proposed method achieves competitive pose accuracy while using fewer correspondences, and it is the only method shown with meaningful translational velocity estimates.
