emeka_boris · x · 2026-07-21
Kratu is an offline voice tutor for Hausa speakers who cannot read yet.
- It started with teaching the alphabet and now covers 74 real photos across 6 lessons: animals, food, home, body, nature, and vehicles.
- Every step is spoken in Hausa, answers are spoken aloud in English and checked with speech recognition, then learners take a shuffled test before moving on.
- The whole experience runs in a browser and works fully offline.
