Anthropic shipped Claude Code v2.1.216 with a long list of workflow and reliability fixes.
Key changes include:
- sandbox.filesystem.disabled to skip filesystem isolation while keeping network egress control
- A fix for quadratic slowdown in long sessions that caused multi-second stalls and slow resumes
- OAuth-related command rejection bugs fixed after token expiry or rotation
- Better handling for AskUserQuestion prompts, @ mentions, resume behavior, worktree isolation, daemon shutdown, and other session edge cases
Overall, this release focuses on making long-running Claude Code sessions more stable and less error-prone.
