He notes that doctors are already using ChatGPT in consultations, which raises the question: what is the doctor’s role if patients can get the same answer instantly?
He says he sometimes tells a model he is writing fiction to get around refusals.
For hard problems, he prefers having AI explain things at progressively lower levels, argue both sides, or simulate an expert panel debating the issue.
His broader point: when you think “I don’t know how to figure this out,” that is exactly when you should open AI.
