A practical tip for Claude app users: if a long run errors out near the end, you can often recover the work instead of losing paid tokens.

The key is to explicitly ask Claude to salvage the progress and explain that the session failed mid-way. The screenshot shows the model reasoning about where execution stopped, checking the current state, and resuming the remaining batches before generating a diff and final output.
