A user says Claude flagged their routine metascience work as unsafe, and the attached screenshot shows the guardrail message.
The warning says Fable 5’s safeguards are intentionally broad for now and may flag safe coding, cybersecurity, or biology work. It also says the team is working to refine them. The post is funny because the model is treating ordinary research-like work as if it were risky.
