AI governance now has to cover data flows, not just consent boxes

Consent checkboxes are no longer enough for AI data use
The post argues that governance must cover not only datasets but also the flows of data through AI systems. Simply asking users to click through a consent box is presented as insufficient.
The argument ties back to the shift toward AI systems that can retrieve live information, connect to other services, remember interactions, and act on changing data over time.
