AI video lip-sync issues turned a music project’s face redaction into the joke

The artist says the album cover’s black redaction box over the face was originally a workaround for unresolved AI video consistency and lip-syncing problems.
Because people kept asking about it, she decided to turn the redaction into part of the music videos and skits. The aesthetic is described as bombastic and 2003-era nostalgic, and she notes the dialogue was not fully clean in the final cut. She jokes that she may need to release the videos on an alt account, but says the whole thing is funny and fun to make.
