AI executive Ahmad Al-Dahle congratulated Moonshot on the release of the K3 model and its claimed 2.5x efficiency gain over K2.
He pointed out that if open-source labs continue to achieve 2.5x efficiency improvements annually, raw compute advantages will depreciate rapidly. The frontier of AI is no longer defined by who has the most FLOPs, but by who converts them most effectively.
