AI-native startups hire more from elite schools and big tech, study finds

A repost argues that people dismissing school prestige in tech hiring are wrong, citing a WSJ-style claim that AI-native startups disproportionately hire from prestigious companies and elite schools.
The image says researchers also found these companies were more likely to be male, and that although the firms raised similar amounts of money, AI startups had about 20% more capital per employee. The post uses that to argue pedigree still matters a lot in AI hiring.
