The post argues that models are best understood as mirrors and amplifiers: if you are already capable, they can massively boost your output; if you are not, they mostly scale your mistakes and cost you more.
It cites a case where a capable person used Fable to pull off a feat on the fly while watching the World Cup, and concludes that prompting alone rarely creates capability that the user does not already have.
