Anduril’s development speed highlights a modular AI defense stack

Linus Ekenstam says Anduril’s pace of development is remarkable, and argues that frontier systems are increasingly built by combining highly capable modules in a LEGO-like stack.
He lists the ingredients he thinks matter most: LiDAR, camera systems, actuators, satellite internet, hybrid motors, AI compute, multimodal systems, and dynamic payload interfaces.
His conclusion is that building a European equivalent of Anduril should not be especially difficult if teams can assemble the right components quickly.
