Blockscout adds x402, letting AI agents pay for onchain data with a wallet

Blockscout has added support for x402 in its Pro API, letting AI agents request onchain data without an API key.
The flow is: an agent hits an endpoint, receives a 402 Payment Required response, signs the request with its own wallet, and then gets the data back. The post says the integration is live on buildonbase and frames x402 as a Linux Foundation-governed, Coinbase-built standard for agent payments.
