Hermes Agent v0.19.0 is out, with the release claiming about 80% faster first response across CLI, desktop, TUI, and gateway.
Key changes include:
- the desktop app is now 14× faster for markdown rendering, virtualized diffs, and session switching
- reasoning streams are on by default
- smart approvals are now the default
- billing/subscription management is available from the terminal
- new secret sources for Bitwarden and 1Password
- profile routing can run multiple profiles through one gateway
