Cursor helped turn a classical mechanics text into a code-literate TypeScript/Jax book

An experiment in turning Structure and Interpretation of Classical Mechanics into a code-literate textbook: the author says Cursor could convert it relatively easily because the book already reads like code.

The project implements Chapter 1 in TypeScript/Jax with code-math alignment and a simulator, and raises a useful question: when is formal typing actually helpful for technical prose, versus when it gets in the way of the book’s style?
