Anthropic users are complaining that Fable 5 now requires usage credits, with the app prompting them to either enable credits on claude.ai or switch to Sonnet 5 to continue.
The screenshot suggests a subscription/access change rather than a new model launch: Fable 5 runs on usage credits and the user has to re-enable credits before using it again.
