OpenCodex lets Codex switch among different models
vista8 · x · 2026-07-21
OpenCodex is a GitHub project that lets Codex switch between non-OpenAI models.
The post highlights a workflow where you can use Kimi K3 for frontend design, then switch to GPT sol5.6 for backend work, and even use Grok 4.5 to search X for information. It’s framed as a practical way to improve Codex’s frontend taste by mixing models inside one coding workflow.
