Stop wasting money on models you don’t need.
The poster argues that Kimi K3 has replaced Opus 4.8 for most tasks because it is much cheaper. Their suggested split is:
- use Flash for simple tasks
- use Fable when problems get genuinely hard
In short: pick models based on task difficulty instead of defaulting to the most expensive option.
