YouTube Clarifies Monetization Policies for AI Content

YouTube has updated its monetization policies to explicitly define which types of AI-generated and low-quality videos (AI slop) are ineligible for ad revenue. This move aims to regulate the platform's AI content ecosystem and prevent the abuse of monetization mechanisms by mass-produced, low-quality AI content.
