Autonomous spotlights open-source agent projects in Week 1 grants

Autonomous announced the Week 1 winner of its open-source grants program and highlighted several agentic projects.
The prize goes to hermes-concurrent-agents, a project for running local Hermes agent teams concurrently. Other notable submissions include:
- smf-praxis: a governed agent that can read and draft autonomously, but requires human approval for sends and destructive actions.
- taOS: a self-hosted agent OS where memory, files, and conversations stay on hardware you own; it claims 97% on LongMemEval-S and distributed compute across a Pi, a Mac, and a gaming PC.
- llmgauge: local LLM evaluation on consumer hardware with GGUF/llama.cpp, artifact preservation, manual scoring, and captured VRAM/context per run.
- dotflowy: a Workflowy alternative extensible with plugins and agent-native via MCP.
- vtx-coding-agent: a minimalist coding agent with a 2,600-token system prompt, 11 tools, 50+ providers, and both TUI and headless CLI modes.
The post also says Week 2 will feature another hardware prize.
