Archestra launches a one-week MCP app hackathon

Archestra is hosting a one-week hackathon for building everyday-workflow apps with MCP.
Participants are asked to pick a recurring task—such as sprint reports, lead triage, or dashboards—and turn it into an app in Archestra chat. The app is then generated automatically and connects to real tools like GitHub, Jira, Slack, and CRMs through MCP servers using the user’s existing credentials.
The event runs July 22–29, online and free. Prizes include $1,000 for the most useful app, $750 for the best weird app, and $500 for the most-liked post about the app. Setup is described as Docker plus an LLM key, with roughly 15 minutes to get started.
