Claude Code user hits full 5-hour limit after `/compact`

A Claude Code user says they opened a session from 16 hours earlier, used /compact, and immediately hit 100% of their 5-hour Pro limit.
The screenshot shows the app reporting usage-limit exhaustion even though the user had not sent a fresh message yet. They ask whether compaction alone can consume the full allowance and where to inspect usage details.
