Future models may default to trying open problems

The next generation of models may be fundamentally different: instead of defaulting to “this is unsolved, so I won’t try,” they will assume open problems are solvable and attempt them by default.

The point is that this shift would change how models behave internally and could upend current assumptions about what they are willing to tackle.
