Kunlun Wanwei officially released and open-sourced Matrix-Game3.5, a new interactive world model announced at WAIC.
The article says the model targets open-world interaction and brings together several technical upgrades: PatchMemory for long-term spatial memory, PRoPE and WarpedRoPE for geometry-aware position encoding, disentangled static/dynamic memory, and an optimized inference stack that enables 720p, 20 FPS streaming generation on a single GPU. It also describes an automated data pipeline that reconstructs video into 3D-aware training data with camera pose, depth, and scene-quality scoring.
Kunlun positions Matrix-Game3.5 as a lightweight, modular framework that can be transferred across video backbones, and says the open-source approach is meant to make world models a shared infrastructure for games, simulation, and embodied AI.
