The author built a machine-readable registry of paid x402 APIs and datasets for agents, with infra-side verification every 15 minutes. ## What it does - Listings are probed from the builder’s own infrastructure, not self-reported. - Three consecutive passes plus a score above 0.8 are required for verification. - Five failures flag a listing; 30 days of failures auto-delists it. - Free samples are checked too, and the real paid endpoint must still return `402`. - Paid endpoints that return `200` to unpaid requests are flagged for price/behavior mismatches. ## Why it matters - The registry exposes both a REST API and an MCP server so agent frameworks can query it directly. - Submission is open to humans and agents, but every submission starts unverified. - A competitor’s own trust-scoring service even auto-submitted three of its endpoints after checking its brand name in the registry.
