An MCP gateway for gated, audited agent actions

Asimpleyoungkid · reddit · 2026-07-20

Built an MCP gateway that sits between an agent and real tools like Kubernetes, GitHub, and databases.

It risk-scores each action, auto-approves reads, sends risky actions to a one-click Slack approval flow, and records everything in a tamper-evident log. The author says no agent-side code changes are needed, credentials stay local, and they’re looking for feedback on missing integrations, policy types, deployment model, and pricing.

A demo and free pilot are available at ephor.dev.
