baseten · x · 2026-07-20
Baseten says its kernels team can now generate 5 seconds of video in under 2.5 seconds.
The context is an optimization effort around Wan 2.2 video generation that reportedly made it 53.6× faster. The broader point is that performance engineering can unlock a new class of real-time video generation use cases.
