Why AI safety orgs need early frontier-model access
EvanHub · x · 2026-07-20
The author argues that a “Project Glasswing” for AI safety may be urgently needed. Their concern is that once governments start deciding who gets early access to frontier models, AI safety organizations may not be granted access by default. They suggest that if Anthropic and OpenAI set the precedent that safety orgs should receive early access, the US government would be more likely to follow that model later.
