Anthropic splits Claude limits and pricing by product

Anthropic has shifted Claude-related limits on a staggered schedule:
- Fable 5 is now metered for Pro and Team Standard.
- The free-inclusion deadline kept moving: June 22 → July 7 → July 12 → July 19, with the final arrangement starting July 20.
- Max and Team Premium keep Fable 5 permanently, capped at 50% of the normal weekly limit.
- Pro and Team Standard get a one-time $100 credit, then pay $10/M input tokens and $50/M output tokens.
- Claude Code had previously been extended on the same schedule, but its 50% weekly-limit boost is now extended separately through Aug 19.
- Cowork is also still running its own 2x multiplier through August.
The poster reads this as a sign of broad inference-capacity pressure, and possibly an incentive to protect agent usage while ChatGPT Work competes for similar workflows. They note the real test will come after August, when it becomes clear whether Code and Cowork keep their special treatment.
