Agent Commerce Needs Verifiable Receipts

AI Engineer · youtube · 2026-07-20

This talk argues that if agents are to truly "buy, sell, and combine work" in the future, merely looking at logs or API dashboards will be far from enough; we need verifiable receipts.

Froglet is an open-source agent-to-agent compute protocol and node that unifies service publication, discovery, invocation, and verification into a single signed flow: Descriptor → Offer → Quote → Deal → Receipt. It also exposes the same tool surface via MCP and OpenClaw/NemoClaw, eliminating the need to write vendor-specific glue code between different models and hosts. The talk's core thesis is that agentic commerce must establish verifiable workflows before talking about payment pages; payment channels can change, but identity, workload hashes, and transaction states must be preserved across models and platforms.
