Claude Spots Missed Diagnosis in CT Review
Scobleizer · x · 2026-07-20
A user shared their experience using Fable + Claude Co-work for a secondary analysis of an abdominal CT scan. Initially deemed normal by a radiologist, the model flagged a specific, previously ignored location after importing the raw images, returning the results with annotations.
When the user brought this finding back to the radiologist, the anomaly was confirmed. The author concludes that while AI won't necessarily replace doctors, it serves as an excellent tool for auxiliary review, especially in scenarios with slow medical workflows and insufficient manual double-checks.
