Cryptographer Highlights Flaws in AI Coding Agent Toolchains

Matthew Green pointed out that when handling specific tasks like decryption, current AI coding agents often blindly grab low-quality open-source projects from GitHub to experiment with, making success highly random.
He believes the true developmental goal should be building a high-quality toolset that agents can autonomously discover, download, and invoke. However, he emphasized that the current agent tool ecosystem, especially MCP, still has significant flaws in this regard.
