ComfyUI FLUX.2 Non-Recursive Multi-ControlNet Tool Released
jessidollPix · reddit · 2026-07-20
A developer has released the JLC Flux2 ControlNet v1.0.0 toolchain designed specifically for ComfyUI, supporting the FLUX.2-dev Fun ControlNet Union model.
Core Design: It abandons traditional recursive nested calls in favor of a flat, non-recursive orchestration. It supports up to 4 ControlNet branches for parallel evaluation and residual merging. Each branch can independently configure control images, strength, and timestep ranges while sharing the same loaded model.
Key Features:
- An Orchestrator supporting up to 10 reference images.
- Introduces a caching system for ControlNet prompt latent space and reference image latent space to boost generation efficiency.
- Compatible with ComfyUI's DynamicVRAM memory scheduling.
Experimental Features: Includes an inpainting adapter and context cache for image editing via mask paths. Currently, the inpainting feature is still experimental; hard edges may produce artifacts, and it is recommended to pair it with OpenPose for optimal results.
The plugin package is now live on the ComfyUI Registry and requires existing image preprocessing nodes to function.
