Deep Learning Unexplainable, Papers Admit It

The author jokes that deep learning is still like an "art." If you try to understand it using the Feynman technique, you'll often find that many papers and mechanisms simply don't explain it clearly. The attached image quotes a self-deprecating statement from a paper's conclusion: the reason these architectures work can only be "attributed to divine benevolence."
