Satirical Ad for Outsourcing Decisions to AI
Speckart · reddit · 2026-07-20
The author created a series of "future ad" satirical posters envisioning a world where humans outsource most thinking and decision-making to AI. By combining vision, audio, and life context, the AI simply tells you what to do next, leaving humans to just press "Proceed."
They dub this future "Overseer," arguing that without needing true AGI, today's LLMs can already act as a decision-making layer for many daily tasks given enough context. The author admits this might make humans "dumber," but could also free up cognitive load to focus on higher-level goals.
