agentcookie Lets Agents Inherit Login States

daniel_mac8 · x · 2026-07-19

agentcookie solves a very practical agent engineering problem: allowing an agent running on a second Mac to inherit the authentication states of websites and APIs already logged into on your personal Mac.

It syncs Chrome cookies, CLI bearer tokens, API keys, and tool-saved auth blobs, continuously encrypting the sync via a Tailscale tailnet. This allows agent runtimes like OpenClaw and Hermes to work directly as "you" on the web and terminal upon launching on the second machine, eliminating the need for per-site re-authentication.
