Cursor Credits Instantly Drained by Bots

At an AWS builder loft hackathon, Cursor gave each participant $50 in credits via a spreadsheet containing 310 individual referral codes. Unsurprisingly, these were quickly scraped by bots, with one person allegedly amassing around $15k in Cursor credits.
The post describes it as an "unprecedentedly hilarious development," joking that this might have been the fastest project to monetize that night.
