Survey on Real-World AI Agents
kaiwei_chang · x · 2026-07-18
This is an open survey invitation focused on "real-world agents," aiming to collect the design choices developers make when building agents. The goal is to promote open science and help guide the future direction of agent research.
The organizers plan to publicly share the results to compare different agent architectures and designs, uncover common patterns, identify shifting trends, and highlight underexplored research opportunities. They mention their previous work on MAP v1 and note that this survey will follow a similar open research methodology.
