HKU Proposes Reverse Learning for Robots

A study from Hong Kong University introduces a new approach to robotic task learning: mastering reverse tasks first (e.g., learning to "pull a nail" before "hammering it," or "unstacking blocks" before "stacking them") to boost learning efficiency.
This reverse process offers a broader, more easily solvable state space funnel, helping robots smoothly master forward operations.
