A developer shared their experience of having a codebase, built over several months, successfully extended by AI. Impressively, rather than merely doing simple code completion or generating boilerplate, the AI truly understood the architecture of an entirely new codebase it had never encountered through pattern matching, and autonomously completed functional extensions based on it.
