Ontic Labs Emerges to Build Physical AI

Ontic Labs has announced its launch and is actively hiring. The team was selected for the European project Next Frontier AI from over 500 applications, becoming one of the 10 chosen teams.
Details from the announcement image include:
- The project will roll out in three phases;
- Phase 1 is €3M / 7 个月;
- The overall plan includes a €125M non-dilutive challenge;
- Larger staged funding arrangements will follow.
The team's focus is on building world models, using video to train robots to understand the world at scale, and reconstructing 3D humans to teach robots how to act within it.
