Automated Testing: Combining Computer Use and E2E

Discusses engineering practices for GUI automated testing. While traditional pipelines typically rely on E2E frameworks like Playwright, testing can also be automated using AI Agents' Computer Use capabilities. Although Agent-based testing is currently more expensive and slightly less stable, it can accomplish tasks traditional E2E cannot, effectively replacing significant manual effort. Furthermore, using desktop versions of Codex/Claude Code is recommended, as they proactively invoke Computer Use for pre-delivery testing and auto-fixing, significantly boosting efficiency.
