Currently, solving complex math problems with LLMs typically relies on step-by-step Chain of Thought (CoT) text generation, which consumes massive test-time compute. This discussion proposes a new approach: processing reasoning steps in parallel within a continuous latent space, rather than sequentially outputting text tokens.
